Parking and transfer
For guests arriving by car, we offer the possibility of parking on the street directly around the hotel or in a nearby garage for safe and carefree parking.
If you are arriving by plane, we will arrange a transfer for you directly from the airport to our hotel.
History
The Malostranska Residence building was built in 1870 as a savings bank and served as such for the next 60 years. After its closure in 1930, it was converted into apartments.
During the construction, architect Jan Šula commissioned Mikoláš Alš, the most famous Czech artist, to create five beautiful frescoes in the foyer, which are 75 cm high and stretch from the main entrance to the courtyard. These frescoes depict stories of the Czech people and were signed by Mikoláš Alš in 1895.
The walls bear not only beautiful frescoes by Mikoláš Alš, but also stories of the century-old building.
